5 idées pour améliorer votre vie avec des photographies

Taking photos isn't just for Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest. Photographs can add so much to your daily life. It's great that we now have our phones to do most of the work when it comes to taking pictures. You don't need to bother with a DSLR camera, unless you want to, of course!

How does taking pictures contribute to our daily well-being? We are not talking about selfies here. But this can also be the case if, for example, you document your progress in a field, day by day!

August 19th was World Photography Day. This day celebrates the history, science and art of photography. But there's also a lot to be said for its usefulness, not only in recording memories and capturing the best (or worst) moments, but also in our daily lives, now that we have amazingly efficient cameras in our pockets!

So here are our tips for getting the most out of your camera for your personal benefit!

1. Take pictures of everything instead of keeping receipts or other paper waste that accumulates.

Your phone's camera is a tool for living a minimalist lifestyle! You could even take pictures of your favorite pages in your directories, store them in the cloud, and voila, you've just cut down on the heavy trinkets that end up in boxes.

Take pictures of receipts and warranties for your appliances. The best part is that you can organize the files for easy retrieval if you need them later. It also means you are safe from lost or deleted receipts.

2. Use photos or video recordings to train your staff, students or colleagues.

Use a Flexible phone arm holder or The all-terrain tripod: flexible tripod support to place your phone, then take pictures or videos of you explaining or showing something.

You can't imagine how much time you can save by using this method, which everyone can benefit from instead of having to be face-to-face all the time. Indeed, you waste time explaining over and over again. Having a video instead is very effective, especially when you are collaborating with other people working from home.

Give it a try! You don't need a professional setup. Just stabilize your phone on a good stand, film when the natural light is good and use a good microphone. And that's it!

If you have filmed a DIY answer to a useful FAQ, post it on YouTube, people will love it!

3. Take before and after photos of your hobbies and projects.

Have you started a paint-by-numbers kit? Are you crocheting something? Or maybe you are painting your house room by room?

When it comes to making slow progress, seeing the progress you make motivates you to keep going. Sometimes it can be hard to see that progress, especially since it's so much easier to procrastinate or give up! So take pictures and videos and post them online.

A community of like-minded people will quickly find you, even if you don't join a page or group for that matter, and you can hold yourself accountable to follow through.

4. Improve your mood by taking pictures.

If you're feeling overwhelmed or going through a stressful time at work or school, taking pictures will help you focus on something else, no pun intended.

Taking pictures is a creative outlet, but there's less pressure and less time involved than with other creative pursuits, because you're simply capturing what's already there, instead of creating something.

It's relaxing and rewarding, and it keeps you from being idle. Instead of bingeing on Netflix (which also means binging on snacks), take pictures.

Then, get this aluminum phone and tablet stand so you can review your photo montages on your desktop and even use it to display your favorite photo after you print it!

5. Use photos to keep track of your personal development journey.

The concept of personal development is about taking care of your mental and physical health. We all need it.Get out there and ride your bike for a great workout. Take your phone with you on this 100% waterproof bike and motorcycle bag phone holderThen take a break, take pictures. Post them with progress notes such as your average speed to get to your destination.

When you do the same ride later and you're barely out of breath, you'll remember it!

You can also take a picture before you start a skin care routine of getting at least 8 hours of sleep each night and using toners and serums. You'll be amazed at the difference as you take progress photos each week!

If you do yoga, it's especially impressive to see your progress in flexibility between day one and day 30.

And if you do meditation, you'll be surprised to see that you stay in a meditative state longer and longer. Take a picture of the clock and the incense (if you are using it) before you start.

Taking pictures is not just about people or animals. It can also help you on a personal level!
